Try athletics with Northern Suburbs Little Athletics Centre! Come along to our first two carnivals of the season and give it a go. We welcome kids of all capabilities – you just need enthusiasm!
We offer trial membership for kids aged 11-16
- Trials are only available to athletes who have not previously been a member of a Little Athletics Club
- Athletes must be born between 2008-2013 to qualify for trial membership for the 2024/25 season
- Trial membership fee is $30 (non-refundable)
- the trial fee will be credited against the full membership fee if athletes decide to join (full membership costs $210, so upgrade cost will be $180 + a club uniform top)
- there will be no refunds for trialists who are unable to attend any of the trial carnival dates
- Trialists may attend the first two carnivals of the season only:
- 14th September 2024 – Orientation Carnival (coaching only, no timing, no results)
- 21st September 2024 – Week 1 carnival (first regular carnival of the season)
- If either of these carnivals is cancelled due to wet weather – we will move the carnival to the following weekend. Trials will be available for the first two active carnivals, regardless of the actual dates.
- Trial members are not required to purchase a club uniform unless they join as a full member. Just wear comfortable clothes and normal running shoes.
- Your $30 trial membership fee automatically provides you with a full season of “Community Membership” with Athletics NSW
- you will receive more information from ANSW about other community events you can participate in throughout the season, even if you choose not to upgrade to a full membership with NSLAC
- Community Membership provides full personal accident insurance coverage while at NSLAC trial carnivals and at any other ANSW sanctioned community event.
